Dear Valued Customer,

We are reaching out to you today with an invitation for customers with custom products or high volumes to participate with us in Placing Orders to Guarantee Supply Chain Stability.  Technologic Systems, like many electronics systems manufacturers, is beginning to get notices from various segments of our supply chain that materials will be harder to obtain in 2021 due to a wide variety of challenges in the manufacturing world.  Technologic Systems is well poised to absorb the immediate short term impacts of small disruptions in our supply chain.  We maintain safety stock of components and finished goods for many of our standard products, and our primary contract manufacturing partners are located in the US.  Our staff is very experienced in weathering larger supply chain disruptions without impacting our lead times and customers.

This year many of our suppliers are making offers that will guarantee our supply chain stability by allowing us to place larger annual component orders.  We have already begun this process.

In order for Technologic Systems to be able to include each individual customer and application under our strong supply chain umbrella we are requesting that customers place a large annual order with us.  We are especially inviting customers with custom or customized hardware products, customers who are forecasting growth, or customers with sensitive applications that want to ensure stable supply place a Purchase Order that reflects their most conservative expectations for the next year or more.

In order to assist customers in making these large commitments, we will be offering adjusted terms for the financial deposits and delivery time windows on any orders that are identified as being an annual order.  We anticipate these orders will be much larger than the typical purchase order, and that deliveries could extend out into 2022.  We ask customers to put their best forecasted requirement dates on their orders and then communicate changes in advance of scheduled shipments.  We will be requiring an adjusted deposit against the full order amount on all of these annual orders in order to place the buys for the at risk components as they are identified.  The number of at risk components will be changing regularly and Technologic Systems will be managing the changing details on behalf of our customers and making sure that our supply chain will support all requirements that we can forecast based on past usage of standard products, and any annual orders we have received.

However, despite our best efforts, there may be some lead time impacts over the next several months.  We will notify customers as soon as possible when we identify particular orders that are impacted.  Not all materials will be brought into advance stock, but our experienced teams will be working together to ensure that we protect our customers from the current storms.
