Dear Valued Customer,
We are contacting you today to notify you that the CompactFlash eject button option is no longer available (OP-EJECT) on a product you've purchased from Technologic Systems. The mechanical device used to provide this option went end of life and we have run thru all of the stock we purchased in the last time buy. This does not effect any of the base systems, all of the single board computers that use this option are still available today.
The affected products are: TS-3300, TS-5300, TS-5400, TS-5500, TS-7200, TS-9500
Here at Technologic Systems we try our best to extend the life of our products as long as possible thru last time buys and other purchasing means. Unfortunately the requirement for this feature exceeded our expectations, and there are no additional devices available on the market.
The purpose of the OP-EJECT is to enable customers to mount one of these single board computers in an enclosure where the CF card does not protrude out of the enclosure. In this case the OP-EJECT protrudes from the enclosure allowing easier ejection of the CF card.
Please contact us if an ejector is a hard requirement for your product. In order to continue to support your requirements into the future Technologic Systems can do a board redesign to accommodate a different compact flash card ejector that is still being manufactured.
