Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to notify you of a Configuration Consolidation on the TS-7400 Product Family & Flash Memory Update from Technologic Systems.  We will continue manufacturing the TS-7400 product families based on the Cirrus Logic EP9302 processor, but have decided to consolidate each of the TS-7400 product families down into a few stocked part numbers with fixed option configurations.  This may result in a minor price change on the products available that fit your application, please know we worked our best to keep these price changes to a minimum for these older products.

Additionally we are consolidating and updating the product line to the 128MByte NAND Flash size. You will see associated part number and price changes.  There is no impact to software or other form/fit/functions.  Please contact us as soon as possible with any remaining requirements for 32MByte NAND Flash.

The affected products are: TS-7400  and all custom configurations

We are carefully reviewing our sales history for all of the possible TS-7400 product families going back over the past 3-5 years and will be selecting the most popular options to consolidate down to.  We are also reviewing the associated component availability to ensure that we will be able to continue offering these products for the foreseeable future.  When the review is complete, we will be posting updated ordering and pricing information in the individual product webpages.  Initially we will also be finishing selling out inventory on a few less popular configurations, these will be listed on the order tab as available for sale.

We periodically review the BOMs for all of our products for longevity.  During the course of such a review it was determined that the NAND Flash utilized  for the 32MByte systems is no longer available.  The NAND Flash industry is consolidating these older styles of flash down into a few longer term configurations, in this case 128MByte.  In addition to transitioning all products to a single size of Flash memory we have also qualified a new Toshiba TC58BVG0S3HTAI0 device to ensure the best long term availability.

Please contact us if you have any immediate requirements for a particular configuration or NAND flash and we will do our best to accommodate all requests.  Otherwise you can continue to place orders for the configured part numbers you will see on our refreshed product webpages shortly.
