Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to inform you of a NVRAM New Part Qualification.

The affected products are: TS-DIO64, TS-NVRAM2

The battery-backed NVRAM used on the affected products has been EOL'ed by the manufacturer. As we are nearing the end of the last of our remaining stock, we have been working to qualify a new compatible part. The new component is from the same manufacturer and has moved to a different die technology. We have worked with the manufacturer to ensure a long lifetime roadmap of the new component.

Our testing team has qualified the new part to meet or exceed the previous component's specifications. Existing applications will see no changes in form, fit, or software access to the NVRAM itself and this change is expected to be a drop-in replacement for all existing applications.
