We are contacting you today to address a Product Enhancement Notice – New High-Quality Acrylic Endcaps on a product you've purchased from embeddedTS.

As part of our commitment to continuous improvement and long-term product availability, embeddedTS is pleased to announce a significant enhancement to our product enclosures. We have qualified and are transitioning to a new premium acrylic endcap solution.

The new design introduces several significant enhancements. We have implemented D-shaped holes that align with the flat region of panel-mount SMA connectors, eliminating antenna rotation under torque and removing the need for a lock washer for superior structural stability. Consistent with the current design, any unused holes will be covered with a black plug. Additionally, these endcaps feature full-color printing. 

The affected products are: TS-7670, TS-7680, TS-7800-V2, TS-7970, TS-8700

This change is strictly mechanical and aesthetic. There is no impact on the software, electrical performance, or core functionality of your products. These new components will phase into production gradually. Please note that some shipments may contain previous endcaps until stock is depleted, after which all units will feature the new endcaps.
