Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to inform you of a Software Update for TS-7800-V2.

The affected products are: TS-7800-V2

As the TS-7800-V2 draws closer to its production release, we have a number of fine adjustments made to software and firmware present on the device. The following are highlights of this release:

1. FPGA update to support arbitrary baud rate generation up to 1 Mbaud.
2. U-Boot update to correctly pass MAC address obtained in U-Boot to the booted Linux kernel
3. Kernel and userspace update to move to the latest WILC3000 Wi-Fi/BLE drivers and firmware.
4. The shipping image will remain as Debian Stretch, but we have also made available Debian Buster and Bullseye images for customer use.
   

These changes will begin shipping soon on new units purchased. U-Boot and disk images are available in the TS-7800-V2 manual: https://docs.embeddedTS.com/TS-7800-V2#Revisions_and_Changes

Please contact us if your application has a requirement for the higher baud rates from the new FPGA release so we may help you update units as needed.
