We are contacting you today to announce we've added Support for External SMA WiFi Antenna on TS-8820 Enclosure.
The affected products are: TS-8820-BOX
In continually improving our product lineup and support, we're adding a hole in the TS-8820 enclosure end cap to support our u.FL to panel-mount SMA connector for use with SoM products that have integrated WiFi and Bluetooth LE. In applications where the antenna is not in use, a removable plug will take the place of the SMA connector in order to provide protection. Neither the plug nor the SMA connector will affect product fitment in the enclosure, nor will they obstruct access to device I/O.
Please contact us before May 31, 2021 (2 years ago) if there are any application specific concerns regarding this planned change.
