Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to notify you of the TS-4700 Board Revison Change from Rev B to Rev C.  This change will take effect by Jan 1, 2016

The affected products are: TS-4700, TS-8100-4700, TS-8160-4700, TS-8820-4700, TS-TPC-8390-4700, TS-TPC-8900-4700

We are revising the TS-4700 PCB to address the end of life of the RAM utilized on the Rev B board.  There will be no impact on software or system performance with this change.  The TS-4700 Rev C will be a form/fit/function replacement for the TS-4700 Rev B. 

The FPGA will also show a new revision to accommodate minor boot ROM changes needed to support the new RAM.

We tested alternative RAM devices and our testing revealed that there is no drop in replacement that works for the TS-4700.  As a result, we are creating Rev C to accommodate a different style of RAM.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you have any concerns with transitioning to the new revision.
