Dear Valued Customer,

We are contacting you today to notify you of the TS-4900 Board Revison Change from Rev C to Rev D.  Technologic Systems determined that some minor changes to the board layout would improve the product and increase the over all lifecycle of the system.  Most applications will not be impacted by the change, the Revision D board is mechanically a drop in replacement, and most software will not require any changes.

The affected products are: TS-4900, TS-TPC-8390-4900, TS-TPC-8950-4900

The TS-4900 Rev. D makes several minor adjustments to the design.  These changes include improving support for a clip on heat sink, updating the eMMC package to a more available form factor, improving support for the parallel bus option, giving FPGA control to the SD Card power going to a base board, improving hardware support for Windows applications, and improving hardware identification methods for Technologic Systems' boot code.  Please note we will also be providing a new U-Boot with the Rev D TS-4900 to support these changes.
