We are contacting you today to address a BOM change for TS-8820 Isolated Power Supply Stability Enhancment. As a part of our continual improvement process, Technologic Systems has identified a way to increase the robustness of the TS-8820's isolated power supply. There is no impact on the form, fit, function, or software due to this change.

The affected product is the TS-8820 baseboard used in a number of combo products.

The TS-8820 implements two isolated power supplies that are used to create isolated CAN, RS-232, and RS-485 ports. This circuit is receiving a small BOM change in order to increase the robustness of the circuit across all operating conditions. The impact of the BOM change is minor and does not affect the performance or use of any of the isolated communication ports. We anticipate no issues with customer applications' use of the isolated communication ports.
