Dear Valued Customer,

We are notifying you today that embeddedTS has been Unable to Complete Processor Last Time Buy for TS-72xx, TS-73xx, TS-74xx & TS-TPC-739x. embeddedTS had been informed by Cirrus Logic on 11/17/22 that production of the EP9302 processor (utilized on the TS-72xx, TS-73xx, TS-74xx & TS-TPC-739x and other custom and customized versions of these products)has been put on indefinite hold..  embeddedTS was informed after we placed our Last Time Buy PO (within Cirrus Logic’s published Last Time Buy deadline) that Cirrus Logic is unable to fill their open backlog or accept any of the last time buy orders.

embeddedTS is extremely disappointed in this turn of events and we are aware that this will have a significant impact on your business plans.  We have been working directly with Cirrus Logic and our supply chain to seek a remedy.  The Cirrus Logic and embeddedTS teams are each working on solutions, and we are hopeful that a positive resolution will be found.

The affected products are: TS-7200, TS-7250, TS-7300, TS-7350, TS-7370, TS-7395, TS-7400, TS-TPC-7390, TS-TPC-7395 and all standard and custom product variations.

On 11/17/22 Cirrus Logic notified us they are terminating production on the entire EP93xx processor family; effectively immediately and without fulfilling our last time buy order. The cause of the sudden termination is the failure of their 20 year-old test equipment which is specific to their silicon testing process.  Unfortunately Cirrus Logic is unable to produce any further silicon wafers without this test equipment. Please know that Cirrus Logic is doing their best to find solutions for the problems they are facing and embeddedTS will share updates as this work resolves.

embeddedTS is still forming a recovery strategy with the goal of addressing as many customers as possible with the products you rely on. We will be reaching out when solutions for individual products and customers are realized.  Please rest assured that any payments made for materials that ultimately cannot be delivered will be refunded.  We appreciate your patience while we gather more information.
